Welcome to my little world of intentional handcrafted jewellery. My studio is nestled in the foothills of the Mendip hills in Somerset. I create right in the energetic heart of the county, just a stone's throw from the mystical and historic healing lands of Glastonbury. This ancient, sacred land inspires every piece I make.
I believe jewellery can be more than just decorative. It can provide us with a wearable connection to the earth. Which is why I work with raw copper and brass. The metals have a primal feel, and have been used for centuries for their natural healing properties and flow of energy.
These metals are paired with beautiful, crystals, each stone chosen for its specific healing vibrations. Before being sent off to their new homes, all crystals are cleansed of old energy, and then recharged with fresh positive energies, under the powerful, ancient light of the full moon.
About...
Why choose pure copper?
Worn for thousands of years, pure copper is more than just a beautiful, warm metal - it is a natural element that works in harmony with your body.
Natural pain relief: Copper has a rich history in holistic wellness, traditionally worn to help ease joint stiffness, inflammation and discomfort.
Essential mineral absorption: Your body needs copper to function but can't make it. When worn against the skin, microscopic amounts of this essential mineral are gently absorbed into your body, supporting cardiovascular health and vitality.
Naturally antimicrobial: Copper possesses a unique biological property that rapidly destroys bacteria and viruses on contact. Your jewellery acts as a natural, self cleansing shield.
The ultimate conductor: Just as copper conducts electricity, it is metaphysically prized for conducting spiritual energy. It helps clear blockages, balances your chakras and keeps you grounded.
100% sustainable: Copper is one of the most eco-friendly metals on the planet. it can be recycled infinitely without ever losing its quality, making your piece a beautiful choice for mindful consumers.
Why choose brass?
Brass is an alloy made primarily of copper and zinc. It shares many of the incredible benefits as pure copper, while offering the advantages of zinc as well;
The power of zinc: zinc is a powerhouse mineral for the human body, crucial for immune system function, cell growth and healthy skin
'Metal of the Sun': in spiritual and energetic practices, brass is often called the 'metal of the sun'. Its golden colour is associated with boosting mental clarity, attracting abundance, and radiating positive energy.

The 'green mark' phenomenon:
As a buyer you should know that wearing raw copper or brass can sometimes leave a harmless green stain on your skin. The acids in your skin react with the copper, creating copper chelates. The skin absorbs the copper, turning it green in the process. It is completely non-toxic, safe, and easily washes off with soap and water.
Living metal jewellery that grows and evolves with you.
How to care for your 'living metal' jewellery.
If you are purchasing raw copper or brass jewellery, one of the most important things to understand is that they are living metals. They interact with their environment, meaning its colour will continuously evolve over time.
The colour change isn't a defect - its a natural chemical reaction.
Oxidation: Copper and brass react with oxygen, moisture and carbon dioxide in the air.
Skin chemistry: Everyone's body chemistry is different. The pH level of your skin, the amount you sweat, and even the lotions, perfumes or soaps you use will dramatically affect how fast and what colour your metals turn.
Your bright jewellery will gradually deepen into a rich, antique colour. This natural oxidation process makes every piece uniquely yours.
If you want to the restore the shine:
Quick soak: Dip the piece in lemon juice or white vinegar, with a pinch of salt for 1-2 minutes
Rinse with water
Dry thoroughly
